Instead of our regularly scheduled Nerd Day!, we'll be having a movie review. We at Slayre Says are dedicated to giving you our opinions as soon as we get them! And by "our" I mean me and all the voices in my head.
Get Smart:
There's two kinds of humor, and this movie had both. Luckily, it didn't rely too heavily on the dumb humor like so many of the comedies nowadays. I very much enjoyed this movie, which is great since I gave up a large amount of sleep time to go see it. As far as acting goes, a lot of it was over the top, but it felt like it was supposed to be like that. I didn't see the chemistry between Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell, but that could just be that Carell is old enough to be Hathaway's dad...Overall, I give this movie a 4.9 out of 5.00
